Spring Haven Farm has the biggest and best Gem Mine in the area with the largest selection of mining rough! We’ve got mining options at a range of price points guaranteeing fun for folks of all ages. Our variety of different treasures are from all over the world: Emeralds from the mines of Africa, gems from the lands of India, crystals from depths of Russia, arrowheads created by hand just like the Native Americans did hundreds of years ago, and fossils from animals, sharks, and plants.
Once you find your treasures, discover their names and where they came from with our gem and fossil board! Plan a visit to the farm, grab a bag of mining rough, and see if you strike it rich! It’s an exciting and unmatched experience that you won’t soon forget.
We sell entry tickets and mining rough both online and at check-in. (They do not have to be purchased online or in advance.)

Feeding the Animals
Meet the heart and soul of Spring Haven Farm – our beloved animals!
Here, they’re not just residents; they’re family, treated with love and care. Come experience the joy of connecting with Luna the farm dog, Lola the pig, Annie the Donkey, Wilbur and Orville the Highland cows, lots of really cute goats, and more!
What’s even better? You can be part of their day by giving them lots of pets and feeding them tasty treats!
Animal treat bags can be added to your purchase of event tickets, allowing you to feed any of the animals on the farm. You can also shuck and grind your own cob of corn to give to the animals as an extra special snack!
